Vacature Formulation Scientist
To strengthen Banner’s R&D department the company has given the Thema Group the assignment to search for a two new FORMULATION SCIENTISTS. This assignment shows Banner’s continued commitment to its Product Leadership strategy and its belief in the importance of this role by developing own products and product registrations and achieving the desired strategic growth in the pharmaceutical market.
Tasks and responsibilities.
• Perform development projects on the formulation of high value added (liquid fill and shell formulations) pharmaceutical and nutritional products using Banner technologies.
• Play a key role in the Value Added Proprietary Products and Services program (VAPPS) for Banner Tilburg.
• Identify and evaluate new API and concepts for the VAPPS program in consideration with Banner technologies.
• Implement feed back from customers, pilot plant and operations and revise Product and Gel Master Documents accordingly.
• Give guidance and support to trial runs in pilot plant and in specific projects during scale up and commercial runs in operations.
• Give support to sales and customer relations in solving customer complaints and in handling customer questions and requirements for existing and new business.
• Participate as team member and project leader in product and process development projects.
Candidates profile
• Graduate in pharmacy, pharmaceutics or chemistry with sound knowledge in pharmaceutical science.
• Good knowledge of CGMP and/or FDA guidelines and working experience in corresponding environment.
• At least 3 years of experience in a product development environment in the area of pharmaceutical or nutritional dosage forms.
• Experience in the manufacturing of (clinical) trial batches and relevant paperwork.
• Good report writing and presentation skills.
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English language.
• Specific: have the ability to evaluate and distinguish colors and flavors.
